Proper Torque for lug nuts on Ranger Trailer

Does anyone know what the right amount of torque should be when tighting the lug nuts on a Ranger Trailer? It is a 2003 Tandem axle for 621.

About any vehicle, car, truck, trailer or whatever is around 85 ft lbs. I would go with that.

I cant see why a Ranger trailer would be any different.

I agree with the previous post.
Most cars - having 13 inch tires use a 70-80 psi torque.
Most cars - having 14 inch tires use an 80-90 psi torque.
Most cars - having 15 inch tires use an 90 - 100 psi torque.
Most trucks having 16 inch tires use 150-160 psi torque.
Most trucks having 17 inch tires use 180-200 psi torque.

Don't overtorque a small light wheel, or you will end up with a crooked rim.

Wheel size has nothing to do with the torque of the lugnut. It is based on the size of the studs. I would call your Ranger dealer and get the proper spec. 16" and 17" wheels on GM trucks are torqued to 120 lbs-ft. If it has dual wheels it is 140 lbs-ft. These studs are larger than most trailers. One-half inch studs are usually torqued to 100 lbs-ft, whether it is a 14" or 15".
