I just got some and what can I do to make them last? I remember someone said place them in your toilet res. any ideas? Tanks.

I just keep them in the frig and change the water every now and then with bottled water.
located in minneapolis area...buy leeches by the pound, able to keep in great shape 6 - 8 weeks...Gander Mountain carries a worm bedding that I use to keep leeches in...dampen bedding till it is sticky, not sloppy...put in cooler or large crawler box... keep in frig... occasionally redampen and add worm food...leeches thrive no cannabilism...crawler box works grat in boat...
Keep in shallow container in fridge. Keep it just above freezing and they will go dormant. Dont let it freeze or they will croak. A little crust is ok.
Change water frequently. Make sure not to use city water as it has clorene which will kill live bait.
