I am looking to purchase this gps unit. Any advice, pros/cons of this unit. Please educate me on this, thanks

I purchased one two months ago and it works great. If you have some knowledge of how menus work, this unit is not hard to prograsm. It has WAAS capability that can get you within 10 feet of a waypoint. I only have one land route programed so far. I have it programed to show me the distance between the starting waypoint and final distanation plus betwwen each separate waypoint along the route. It also gives you the ETA for both. I have a regular size GPS on my boat that has my waypoints stored and I've programed this unit to read out my compass heading and GPS speed at the same time. There's quite a bit of difference between GPS speed and the paddle wheel speed, especially when trolling, I've found out. If the price is right, you wont be sorry for buying it.
