Drop me a line, I can get you a website for a 2002 20 ft alaskan, 115 merc, 9.9 kicker, bimini top, windscreens, and both the short and tall windshields advertised for $13,995.00.
I think you could buy the boat you described new with an 80 4 stk for that price. I'm not positive, but I think you could.

60HP is very much under powered. The tiller max rating is the lowest I would ever go with on this hull. Even at that, you are looking at less than 35MPH tops. A 60 won't be much fun in rough water when you need to have throtle response navigating the swells.
I'll agree with it being underpowered. Co-worker has a 20 Alaskan with a 60 Johnson (about a 92 model motor). GPS Speed is 25-26 mph with 3 in the boat. Not sure if newer motors will do better, but I would expect no more than 30.
Kind of interesting, but back when he bought the boat, all it was rated for was 60 hp (tiller). Now I see they just raised it again this year to 90 hp. Just an observation.

I have a 20 Alaskan dual console, 90 Yamaha 4-stroke, and a T8. My top speed is just over 30 mph---------on my GPS.
