Looks like it's going to happen. I'm supposed to start August 1st. I'll be based in Gillette, WY which is a bit of a ride to any walleye water. I may sell the Warrior 166SC and take up some fat burning sports like mountain biking and wind surfing :-).

How much does it cost to sell a boat on the WC board?

Hiya Steve,

There is some really good walleye water in Wyoming. Check out the Wyoming tourney link on the tournament page here.

As for how much, the most popular option is the 30 dollars for 6 months. Just go to classifieds, and click on submit an ad. Fill in the fields and click to send it in. Pretty easy to do. Heck if I can figure it out........ :P

Have fun and sad to see ya move away...........R

That must be SOME promotion! Hope it all works out for you. Like Adman pointed out though, looks like you might want to keep the boat for use in Wy. They do have some fishing for walleye there. Wait and see how much use you get and you can still sell it later if need be.

Welcome to Wy, don't sell the boat yet. Keyhole lake is only about 30mi or so from Razor City. I have never fished it but hear some good things about the walleye fishing. I live in Rock Springs and go to Seminoe for the walleye. Just spent the last week there. Lots of 10-13 lbrs are being taken right now. Good luck on your move.

Very clever name Bytemelitely. I like it..;-)

Hey Steve,

Keep the boat, and learn some new waters. Heck, it just might be pretty good fishing out there. You never know. You will still have us to tell your fish stories too!

Take care, and have a safe and successful move out to Wyoming!

I haven't made up my mind to sell the boat yet. I just bought it this spring after searching for a year. I only recently completed rigging it to my satisfaction. It would be hard to give up.

Even if I move, I'll always come back to the best site on the
web - WC. I think many big companies and industries could learn a lot by studying this format.

Steve, there,s a Warrior dealer in Rapid City SD, just down the road from Gillete. Check out Glendo Dam, Keyhole res. or Angustora Dam in SD great fishing out that way Home area, but now moved to eastern SD. Also check out the resident Elk hunting license ($35)

Your more than welcome to store your boat for awhile at my house in Cary. Just in case the opportunity in WY doesn't work out. I promise I'll run the engine and expose the hull to water at least once a week to keep it properly maintained. It will love my garage. Call me. I'm always willing to help a guy I don't know...but owns a nice boat.

I would take it with you though. There's more fishing in that area than you realize. Keyhole State Park has a great lake 30 miles from Gillett. There are many others you can find with a map more detailed than an Atlas. Many of the towns get their water from local reserviours. A fast 100 miles south is the Platte too. Or 100 miles East to Belle Fourche Takes less than two hours from Gillett. Heck, you can't go 30 miles to the Chain O'Lakes from most Chicago suburbs in less time than that.

Steve, good luck out there. Also, you may want to pick up a fly rod and waders for some trout fishing.

The reserviors that were mentioned sound great. And just think,
no Chain of Lakes crowd. It'll probably feel wierd not to have 10,000 boats out there on a weekend.

Heck it will feel wierd not to have 10,000 boats in the entire state. No state sales tax and all the hunting opportunities plus a variety of fishing. Best of luck.

I'd sell the boat or trade it for some hunting vehicle and enjoy all the wild game wyoming has to offer, especially mountain lion and elk, mule deer and even a rare moose tag is available I believe.

Yeah keyhole res. is just 30 miles down the road. It produces some quality waalleye. SO don't sell the boat too quickly.
