O.K. kids. This is just plain getting sickening. I post a simple message asking what the status of the Oconto Leader Board is and we end up having to put up with the usual mud slinging, name calling, rumor spreading garbage that has gotten to the point of changing WC from being one of the more enjoyable ways of spending a few minutes of my time to being a waste of it.
Message to "Reef" (or any of the other whiney MWC'ers), If you have a problem with something at one of the MWC tournys, have the courtesy to call Pete in person and try to be part of the solution to your perceived problem, not an addition to it.
I have been fishing the MWC for ten years. Do I agree that there are some problems? Yes. Do I think that these problems can be corrected? Yes. The biggest problem? Un-named ***holes on this board who would rather cause problems, arouse suspicion, spread rumors and put down the folks in charge for trying their best to do a diffacult job. It sounds as if many of you who fish the MWC can't stand it and how it's run. Keep up the garbage talk and the criticism and your fondest wish will come true, the grand old lady of walleye tournaments will die.

I have fished the MWC since 1994 and this will be my last year. Things have changed, no one can deny that, numbers are way down as well as the payout. I don't blame anyone for it and it is my choice not to fish next year. I made the decision after Little Bay. Unfortunately I think numbers will be down even more next year, I do wish the MWC and everyone who fishes it the best of luck.

I have no problem at all with getting questions answerd on WC. In fact, that's the greatest thing about this board. What I do have a problem with are the way "questions" are many times more statement then question. If we could leave out the slams, half
truths and rumors built into these "questions", then we could most likely get some real answers rather than name calling threads that go on forever. It should be that if you want the best info on anything in the walleye world, go to WC. If you want in-fighting and name calling, watch a soap opera.

Rick, be cool. Since the beginning of WC, there has been a few people that insist on exerting their irrelevant macho BS under a veil of secrecy because they can. It has been a tug of war with the regulars who would prefer total disclosure of the authors. But this site represents a slice of humanity and should provide equal access to all.

Opinions will differ forever and though you or I or many others may not agree with an opinion, it should always be welcome non the less.

Attitude, on the other hand, is another issue. I realize your post is geared toward those posts. Rude, slanderous posts are difficult to swallow and personally make this and all web sites very disturbing because a few bad apples....

I feel that Irv Johnson caught a poorly directed slam for no reason. I thought the topic was going to be interesting and was very disappointed to see it destroyed over an argument over who should be allowed to keep what. That was terrible behavior and Irv should get an apology, but then I might be a softy!

Ignore the bad stuff and enjoy the board and its good people since over all, they are the real reason you return time after time.
