On behalf of TFM Promotions I would like to Thank all the anglers that fished the Oconto MWC Tournament. A special THANK YOU to all the anglers that assisted other anglers experiencing difficulties or in distress. The abrupt change in weather conditions caused problems for many anglers in getting back to tournament headquarters. Due to your fine efforts all teams returned safely to shore. We know some of the names however there were others. Some teams stopped and helped other teams return safely to Oconto, while others went back out to assist in the return of these teams. Also THANKS for your patience through the delays during the weigh-in.

Thanks to TFM promotions too! I'd like to thank Mark and Jim for all their help Thursday night at the kids fishing workshop. Over 40 kids attended, along with many adults. Rick Zachowski also stopped by to lend a hand, doing a great job helping to teach kids how to fillet fish. Many of those who attended had came to last year's workshop also.

As far as the actual tournament, thanks to Jim for all the updates on Walleye Central in the week prior to the tournament and answering the anglers questions to the best of his ability.

My hats off to you for a well run tournament, especially with the unexpected weather conditions on Sunday. All things considered, TFM crew and Oconto Sportsman's Club did a fine job!

I have to second that.
Mark and Jim alway's do a great job at these tournaments.
But when the weather turned and changed the Bay from 1 foot waves to 5 to 7 foot waves in a 15 minute time frame, we found out just how good these guy's are.
Several teams owe a big thanks to there kwick response.
And what type of anglers fish the MWC.
2 boats when back out in high winds and REALLY BIG waves
to help there fellow anglers.
Make no mistake about it they put there own life on the line
to help people they may or may not have known.
Also several teams stoped to pick up fellow anglers wich was no easy feat.
I for one can say I am proud of each and every angler that was in that tournament...
The boat control that was shown at this tournament was
simply incredible.
Thank s God for getting every body back in safe.
