I know there seems to be a lot of things happening in the walleye world lately. Lots of changes, lots of things unsettled, a couple of high-profile tournament trails going through a tough learning curve. Easy for some to say the glass is half empty instead of seeing the glass is half full and getting fuller. Yes, there have been a few recent setbacks, but they will pass. Things will get back on track again eventually. Good people are putting forth good efforts to see to it, and it will happen.

I just wanted to say I appreciate the postings from all the men and women here who stay positive. Walleye Central is a tremendous resource to build and maintain a sense of community among walleye anglers. We can continue to use it to share information about tactics and fish behavior and new places to fish. Accurate fishing reports come almost instantaneously. And, it's all free.

Troubles come and go, but the love of fishing we share goes on and on. Thanks for all your help.

Thanks for your insight, Scott. I agree whole-heartedly with your post.

Many are here to stir the pot. You'll have that.

The positive contributions that are made on this site far outweigh any complainers, whiners and trouble-makers. I read over all the posts and take the bad apples with a grain of salt.

The folks in the industry that are trying to put on tournaments, manage the doom-sayers and rationalize their actions are ****ed if they do, ****ed if they don't.

I applaud all the Sonny Reynolds' of the world that take on the challenge and stand tall to making hard decisions.

I too was registered to fish La Crosse. I was empty at the idea of not having a chance to fish the tourney. But I accept their decision and ask myself one simple question when doubting their competence... "What would you have to pay me to make decisions like this day in and day out?"

The answer is... A LOT.

Kudo's to all those who recognize the fact that you'll never be able to please everyone and still carry on nonetheless.

Yes, a good motto would be;

Fish hard, play nice.
