I just sealed the deal on a 1999 Ranger 617DVS/ w/135 Optimax on Wendesday. The boat is loaded with 4 pedestal seats, charger, custom cover, removable tongue, Lowrance X65 & X75, and a Minn Kota Maxxum trolling motor. The motor has 17.6 hours on it. It is in practically brand new condition. My out the door price was $14,088. Did I get a good deal??? Thanks for all responses. Jason Smith

Good deal, I'd say you stole it. You could turn around and make $4k -$5k on that boat. Enjoy

I found the boat in Florida. A gentlemen who lived in Chicago, sold his home there and moved to Florida. He got very sick and traded it in to a local marine dealership for a smaller aluminum boat. I saw it on Boat Trader last week and it was over from there. I guess it was priced so low because these boats would be hard to sell in Florida. I live in Tennessee and will be going to get it next weekend. I was a little worried about the motor but I still feel I got a great deal. Jason

Why in the world would you be worried about the 135 optimax. If you do a little research on this motor you will discover that this motor is ONE OF THE BEST IN ITS CLASS if not the best in its class. I own one and will deffinately own another one when the time comes.
