Stopped by Lakemaster booth at the St. Paul Sportshow. They have an all new upgrade package that made some very nice improvements in the 1 foot contour maps of Mille Lacs and Leech. The show price was pretty reasonable for the additional detail I saw. They also felt that very soon, the 1 foot contour maps will be available through Garmin for downloading to their standard GPS units.
About time!

I was told this last year too. I really liked my Garming 162 but they could not fix the interface problem with Lakemaster waypoint downloading, and it did not look like they ever would so I made the jump to Lowrance's LMS 320 with the Leech Lakemaster map built in...I love it.
Lowrance has come a long way in the past few years...I was a die hard Garmin user since 1995.
And to top it off Reeds took my Garmin in trade and gave me retail for it.
