I am storing my trolling motor and starting batteries in the garage and planning on giving them a mid-winter charge. I have a 3 amp trickle charger and a 10 amp charger, is one better to use than the other or not a big deal.

Thanks for any advice,
Jim

If you cleaned, filled and recharged your batteries, and your garage is cool (<30F), you don't need to do anything. If you're in a heated garage, a top up might be warranted. If the 10amp charger is fully automatic and trustworthy, use it. Otherwise, use the trickle charger
