Just wondering if any of you Ranger guys have had a chance to compair the new 618T to the tried and true 621T. What do you think of the new 618T? Personally, I think that the additional floor space of the 621T is very hard to beat, but I still have not made up my mind as to which one I'm going to get. Garage space is not an issue.
Thanks for your input and suggestions.

What waters do you fish, if it's big water you'll appreciate the extra 20" in length? Cost difference is about $4k. Performance with a 90 on the 618 and a 115 on the 620 will be about the same. Personally I like the added dry storage of the 618 and don't need a 20ft tiller so I opted for the 618. Both are great boats!

It's amazing the amount of interest the 618t is getting, didn't think the tiller market was that large.
To the original poster, Ranger does not make a 621t it's a 620t. You really don't give us enough information to help you, how many people do you fish with, what kinds of waters, etc.
If you don't need a 20 footer than the 618 might be the perfect boat for you, but who knows.
Best of luck.

You will find both boats extremely dry. Ride, handling and boat control are excellent. The storage has been increased on the 618 T as well. Both have 25" transoms and many similar features. E-mail or call me and I can describe better the features, pros and cons of both boats.

Thanks for your reply guys. The fishing that I normally do is on bigger water like LOW, Cass, Winnie, Mille Lacs Lake and sometimes lakes smaller lakes like White Bear, Buffalo Lake, and Bald Eagle. Sometimes I'll be on the usual walleye river systems in the area too. And most of the time there is only 1 person with me and only about twice a year are there more than 2.
Thanks for your input,
Gary

Viper,
One thing that may help is to see both side by side. There will be both modles at the Mpls boat show this week. In the same booth. Pete, The Griz, and others will be there to answer questions.I'll be there too.

You say there is approx. $4000 difference in the boats, what kind of money are you talking? I am also in the process of making my mind up on which of the two boats to get. I fish alot of the inland lakes in Ohio, but still get up to Erie quite a bit, so I am leaning more towards 620T but haven't completely made up mind. I will be making my purchase probably the end of next season.
