torq steer

As Im getting older and losing my memory I'm in need of more help all the time, this time I'm trying to fix a torq steer problem on a freinds boat, I know that I have to turn the little rudder on the skag one way or the other but cant remember which way? The boat turns very easy to starboard but very hard to port! so what way do I need turn the darn thing??

Looking at the torque tab from the back of the boat, move it in the direction that the boat turns the easiest. Make small adjustments until the torque is managed. Be aware that torque steer varies with trim angle, so make sure you experiment with that as well when making your adjustments.

Thanks Brian, thats just the opposite way we turned it. so we well go back and turn it the other way.
