I'm looking for a 621 with a walk-thru, Merc 250XS, kicker, Lowrance electronics, and a cover. What should I expect to pay? $45K? $50K? It seems the going rate for a used 2003 is around $40,000. Would it be wise to consider a pro's boat and wait until fall to buy? What about warranties? I'm not in a hurry to buy, so fall would be OK. Any advice??

Here is what I was quoted:

621 - 250 Evinrude $40,962
621 - 250 Yamaha HPDA $40,305

add a T-8 for $1950

That's just for the Boat/Motor/Trailer w/ STD equipment. Add $$ for all the other goodies (full windshield, cover, electronics, etc.. Use a catalog as a guideline for prices. All told, mine was over $55K by the time I got done, but I went overboard.

Oh Yeah. These were recent prices quoted to me for a new 2004 621. I went with the Evinrude. Same deals on Ranger stuff described below plus 3+4 years of extra warranty on the 250 'Rude.

I did not price the boat with a Mercury motor. I wanted a quote on the 'Project X' 4-stroke, but it hadn't been released yet (still isn't as far as I know)

Good luck.

P.S. I think Sonny Reynolds was asking $37K for his 2003 621 last fall. Can't remember for sure, but I don't believe it had a kicker. It had very low hours though - practically none. Just used like a show display at tournaments.

That sounds like pretty good pricing, Moritz Marine in Bismarck wants 39,000 for a 619, 200 hp and 9.9 kicker. They seem to be a little bit high. I heard Soo Sports in Sioux Falls had 40,000 for 621 and 250 hpdi.
