Shark meat is pretty indestructable but it's best if it's coated with your favorite blackening spices and cajun seasoning then dropped into a pan that's sizzling hot and dry.
A heavy meat press can be used to speed up the cooking process or if you don't have one, a smaller frying pan or small cutting board can be used to press the shark meat.
Cook one side about 3 to 4 minutes (steaks about 2 to 3 inches thick) and when you flip it over, squeeze a little lemon juce in the bottom of the pan and then set the shark steak back in on the other side and repaeat the pressing / cooking for another 3 to 4 minutes.
Put the steak on a plate and squezze the remaining lemon juice over it.
Serve it with fresh sliced oranges, pineapple and / or other citrus fruits and a cool drink.

The recipe is good, we also marinate it first in milk and lemon overnight. That takes any strong taste out of it. Don't overcook it. White and flakey. Enjoy.

Like it whooped up?

Try this:

Score the steaks 1/3 of the thickness deep every inch. Rub a Jamaican jerk seasoning into the scores.... Squeeze some lime over...Dip in flour/crumb mix, and fry in a bit of oil 4-6 min per side, or till deep golden. Let sit a few minutes before eating.

Walleye too....it's a good one!
