Looking at a couple of options for a new boat and am considering the Suzuki 115 and 140 4-strokes depending on which boat I purchase. Would you please let me know how you like these motors if you have experience with them.
Thanks

My Suzuki 115 4 stroke is the second Suzuki motor I have owned. The first was a 55HP 2 stroke. Both motors are by far the best I have ever owned, with the 115 taking top honors. Not theat there are other good motors, however it's like my dealer says, other than props and water pumps, he'd go broke servicing only Suzuki's.

Mueller, I was able to test a 2003 115 on our waterway, and all I can say is HEAVEN. Power, stealthly quiet, and no negative feedback, just plain awesome. Kinda of like marrying a super model who loves to fish, and doesn't mind a pack of maggots in the main fridge. Almost too good to be true.

I really like mine(DF70), it seems like you just don't here very many bad comments on them.

Mueller, A search through the archives will give you a wealth of positive reports concerning the larger 4 stroke Suzukis. At the present time there are many excellent motors to pick from in that H.P. range; though very few complaints from Suzuki owners. My DF140 has exceeded my expectations!
It is nice to hear these comments. I have a DF140 on order with a new Lund boat.

I put around 150 hours on my 2003 Suzuki DF140 last year. It is a great motor. The hole shot and top end are good. It is excellent on gas and really quiet. I would buy this motor again.

I have a DF140 w/an 1800 Fisherman. Very nice motor - quiet and has some get-up.
