I just purchased two new lures. I bought the pearl colored Thundercrank and the deep Thunderstick in perch. I was a firm believer in the old Thunderstick and am a little reluctant with these new ones. I don't care for the color selections available but am excited about the pearl thundercrank. Any opinions out there?
What is the consensus of the Thundercrank? I am excited about this one...

I have had success with the new models, their not a magic bullet but they do catch eye's. Good luck....

Rapala screwed up royaly when they decided to change the old mold
that they bought from Storm and changed it to the new model you now see on the shelf! The color selection on the new model really bad!! What do they have 7 colors? WOW big deal. It is obvious that the old style Thundersticks worked better. Try to find any of the old models!! That was one ##### of a lure for Walleye!!!
Another thing they screwed up on is take away the Gold/Black Mettalic ShadRap. This is one of the best walleye colors in the ShadRaps line, not to mention Smallmouth!! Then they discontinue it!!! I can tell you a couple of other colors they could have gotten rid of first!!! As far as the ThunderCrank goes, not sure what to think!! I do not own a model of that one. Still waiting for my first walleye on the new Thunderstick Jr.!!! The old model right along side the new one continues to catch all the fish!!! When I catch that firsts walleye on the new Thunderstick Jr. I just might go out and buy a Thundercrank!!! ShadMan

Ditto. I dont claim to understand marketing 101 but discontinuing the old style t-sticks was a huge disappointment. The newer ones may catch some fish but not like the originals.
