I have an 01 Triton 205 with a 23 High Five on a 225 Evinrude Ficht. Loaded up it takes a while to get on plane. Any suggestions for props or jack plate adjustments?

I have an 02 189 triton with a 175 yami hpdi and had a small problem while propping it out. Had similar problems with the present prop. So I put on a SE sport hydrofoil (got at cabelas) as suggested by some friends. Best 40 dollars I ever spent. It helps in every facet from hole shot to rough water to wide open.

I have a 2002 205 i have tryed every prop there is. I run a 225 opti. before i installed a jackplate 23 hyfive was fastest, 21 trophy plus was nicest overall. After installing jackplate 23 trophy plus is best overall. runs 63 to 65 gps with a good load and cool temp. Will just trip rev limiter at YOT. Sent prop to DAH Pro-Pellers to have them work their magic. They can realy get the most out of a prop. Should run high 60s and not hit limiter when it comes back.
PS. Check out march Bass And Walleye Boat Mag. Hot Rigs page 87. Thats my boat!

Also for jackplate hight i am 1.5 inch below the pad with propshaft center. with reworked prop i should be even with pad and gain revs and speed.

Wiredog,
Saw it, very hot! What type of jake plate are you running? How much setback? Batteries front or back? If you can, give me a email, still trying to get mine fine tuned. Thanks
