I am looking at a some new lowrance units and have noticed that the black and white units have much higher pixel counts than comparable color units. Now I know that higher pixels equal more definition and that color units show the differnce in color changes, but isn't really apples for apples? For the price difference I don't know if color is worth it, maybe it is just cool to look at. What is your experience? Thanks

The units work about the same but as you said color is more money. People on this site seem to like color and it is nice and it does give you a brighter clearer picture. If you have the cash buy it.....

According to a seminar with a pro I saw a few weeks back...he says that it allows you to view the graph and see everything in a split second, without having to study it for a few seconds. You can spend more time doing other important things than just staring at your graph.

I have a 104C and I can't say enough about this unit. You can see transitions between hard and soft immediately. The color is awsome!
