I just bought a new boat and was wondering is the x-15 is worth $500 more than the lms-480? Hasa anyone used the lms-480? Is it pretty simple to use?
The extra 500 is for the bigger screen. I had a LMS240 on my last boat and when I bought the new one I placed a x15 on instead. If you plan on running the sonar and GPS with a split screen, you will be disappointed with the LMS480. If you can swing the extra cash, go with the x15. 7.5" screen is a bigger difference.
As far as I know, both units have a lot of the same features.
Both work well!
