View Full Version : Battery tray for 27 group battery

Just bought a Trojan SCS200 battery. The battery tray I bought from a local dealer seems to fit the battery sloppy . Could anyone recomend a tray for this particular battery that will fit tight.

If the tray you bought is to big it was probably designed for a 31 series battery.

Unfortunately some batteries labeled as group 27 may not have the same dimensions as a standard 27. Optima comes to mind. They meet the specs for 27 or 29, etc. I use to put a piece of board in the tray to take care of the side to side movement.

Keep in mind it should be a little bigger than battery to hold spillage.
