What is the average forward trolling speed of this motor? How about top end? What prop are you guys using? The motor will be on an 1800 Pro-V tiller.
Thanks

My partner has a 115 on a 1895 storm. We can get down to 1.2 or so without any aids. Could always tie a drift sock in front if needed.
Awsome motor. Never had one problem in 3 years and it starts on the first turn of the key. Quiet and pretty economical.

I bought one of these last spring, mounted it on an old Starcraft 18 center console. Great motor,,trolls down good with 21 pitch. Scary quick at wide open on my old boat.

took my 90 johnson out for the 1st time-its on a t-pro Alumacraft. it did 38MPH. I was impressed on how it trolled down. My dad has a Mercury 50hp 4 stroke and it trolls way faster. It trolled as slow as my 75Merc 2 stroke on a Lund 1775 (if not lower).

We run the same set up last year. With 19p yamaha stainless steel prop 36mph.
boots69,
What is the forward trolling speed with your set up and the 21p prop?

I used a 19p prop not a 21p. Not sure on the trolling speed because I almost never troll forward but the engine idles at 600 rpm and when I do troll forward it seems to be slow enough. Great engine!
