Don't jump all over me, I know we all like the old t-sticks but check this out. It may really be a waste of time washing these lures behind the boat but you never know! I found this lure from Producer Lures, it looks kinda like a t-stick and I have only casted one once in a small pond. It looked good. I found it at Dunhams. Then found the web site. Check out the Barramundi mauler, willy's worm, and b29. Possible replacements for t-stick and maybe hot-n-tot style lures. can't hurt. Also cheaper. If anyone has experience with these let us know. Maybe we need to shift over from big bait companies to some smaller ones to get what we want.

good luck, here is the site:

I found a few colors of the Barramundi Mauler a Dunham's Sports. Haven't called yet but there is a Michigan number and address on the box.

I have used some of the roscoe's shiners. I found them in a bin at Big lots for $1 I think. They have very loud rattles. I only used 1 once and not for very long, so I can't comment on the effectiveness.

Roscoes shiners, are light and with the hollow bodies their a nightmare to cast and tune. Had luck trimming the bill down, as for as the Willys worm with its Hot nTot action and its MOLDED IN LIP with 2 eyes for bait depth adjustment. I can tell you "RapalatheStorm" are headed a wall with their molded in lip for 4+ dollars. Those Willys are 2 bucks each or less.

just to add a little insight on the (hot-n-tot replica) willy worm..........i bought a few of these at franks bait and tackle a month or two ago..............i thought that they would react like a hot-n-tot, so i picked out a half dozen colors........i had an opportunity to fish these in saginaw bay 7 times now.......they have been on an even par with the tots for fish production.......plus or minus a fish........i do get the impression that they tend to run a little deeper........i will definitely start to stock up on these lures.......tough for me to ignore the production along with the $2.00 price tag...

Well it looks like those bomber lures are goiung to get hard to come by, here in Michigan we have a Nitestalker minnow bait made by the Nitestalker company of Michigan. Maybe BPS Auburn Hills will start stocking these as well as their pencil plugs, these Bluewater guys make some ! stuff. How about it Tom?
