Hi, i'm a newbie when it comes to walleye fishing (Western Wyoming is mainly a trout area). After a couple trips to Seminoe Lake though, i'm hooked on hooking up Walleyes.
I've been reading some past postings on this site about Thundersticks and how well they work, i'm interested in what color patterns work the best so I can keep my eye out for them.
Thanks

I personally like the perch/firetiger and the more subtle natural colors. I am not good about remembering the names of Lure's colors based on manufacturer. Personally, I am a firm believer in lure action well above lure color. The biggest key to me is to try to match the color of the forage base the walleyes are feeding on. I try to use Shad coloring for most of my lure selections....

Thanks Hawgeye, i've got the firetiger and am on the lookout for perch. By the way i've found a bunch on E-bay, but they're not cheap.

No Kidding on the prices! Wow, $8 to $14 each average. And some say that they are not selling so the company had to redesign them to improve sales!? It is obvious at 8-14 bucks that someone is making a small fortune on them. That one seller is getting $30 for three of the deep JR's and he has about 20 auctions not to mention the ones already sold! Wish I knew that Normark was going to discontinue them about a year ago, I would have bought out the stores ...

In general good clear water colors are firetiger, chartruese, perch and chrome. I also wouldn't think twice about using their rainbow trout pattern.
