Just wanted to know what prop to run on a Yamaha 250 HPDI. Its on a 2004 Lund 2025 Pro V. I am looking for the best hole shot and speed.
Thanks in advance

I have the same rig exactly. I tried a 21p Lazer II, a 21p Yamaha Pro-Series and 21p Tempest Plus. The Lazer II ran about 48 to 50mph with full tourney load and didn't have the bow lift I wanted. The Yamaha Pro-Series about 52 to 53mph with good lift. The Tempest Plus ran 54 to 55mph with good bow lift. The Pro-Series and the Tempest Plus will both do quite adequately with a slight edge to the Tempest which I am running. I believe T-Mac is running the same.

Your post is right on, and did you try the Lazer or did the boat come with it. The Lazer has no bow lift for heavy hull boats and boat over 18 feet. Living in the Minneapolis I have seen for some reason a couple of dealers that put them on 19 and 20 foot boats telling them this is the best prop for 1900 and 2025 and I have to disagree.

Yes-mine came with it on, but I swapped it out pretty quick. Love the Tempest.

For me...I like the Merc Tempest+ in 21 pitch. I have the same boat and engine. I have tried a few...but.. like that the best.
