Just wondering if you guys would suggest a certain salesman to deal with at Frankies. I've never dealt with them before and I'm not from the area so I don't know anyone there. Any suggestions?

When I tried to deal with them they turned me off sooo bad. I kept the conversations short because the two salesmen I talked to at two differnet times acted like I was bothering them. I went to South Dakota and found a great dealer. PLus the price was better and the service is awesome. I just hope yu get better service than I did. I was even up front that I was going to buy a boat period!!!! And that didn't seem to matter.

Wow,

Don't log in for a day and see what happens.

I don't mind the Dr. Evil or Hallween jokes but please don't call me a salesman. LOL. I do work with the salesmen but I am in the service department. Someone mentioned John and I will second that. Give myself or John a call. As far as the negitive posters go they can call me too!

I think that if you talk to enough people...everyone has felt screwed by a dealer (car or boat). I bought my boat from Frankies two years ago...bought from a guy who is no longer there. If I could do it over, I would buy through John. As far as Frankies service...I too was critical of them at first. My biggest complaint was they seemed too busy and customer service suffered. But over the last 18 months..they have hired alot more help for Debbie, and expanded their two stall workshop into a very nice building. They have gone out of their way to get my boat in ASAP...if I had a tourney or big fishing weekend coming up...they promised, and delivered on time. Mike is very knowledgable and very helpful. I have called numerous times..on and off the water to have mike walk me through something or just general questions about electronics. I live right next door to a crystal Pierz...and chose to drive 60 miles to Chisago. Shop around...make your own decisions...when I was ready to buy in 2002, I felt like I was buying from another fisherman at Frankies.

I bought my 2003 619 from Frankie's. I have worked with John, Mike, and Debbie. All have been absolutely wonderful to me. I have had to bring it back to Frankie's for small repairs. They have always been very professional and quick to take care of any issues. I will definately go back to Frankie's for my next boat. Just my experience. But, I will say I have also felt "screwed" my other boat dealers. My advice, find someone your trust and go with it. For me, its Frankie's.

I agree. I have bought 2 boats from Frankies, one in 93 and the last in 2001. They treated as though I buy one every year. Frankies is the 2nd largest Ranger dealer in the world. There's alot of boats that run through each spring. It's nice to see his new service center as it is a huge improvement over what the old place had. Deb is second to none when it come to parts service. I would recommend them highly.

Well said...I agree!

If it's fishing rigs your shopping for...no dealer has more hands on experience than the guys and gals that work and run Frankie's. Frankie Jr. (owner) is always on hand to work with you as well as Debbie (owner) in the service/parts dept. and the Dusenka boys (owners sons) doing the rigging etc. Mike Meyer is one of the best service people in the business as he is a veteran tournamnet angler as well. He knows the "real world" of fishing boats. John and the sales force is a veteran crew that ALSO uses the boats! That's a huge plus.

Like ALL successful dealers...there will be certain times when things get hectic. There are many great dealers who have these "times".

All you unregistered guys just keep tossing the B.S.
Those of us who have purchased from Frankie's will continue to do so.
I puchased a new boat from John in 1998 and couldn't be happier.
I crunched the lower unit on a Saturday dropped the boat off on Sunday, called Deb on Monday and picked it up on Thursday of THE SAME WEEK!
Had a little issue after a tune up, Deb told me to bring it back in she took a look at it and got things squared away to my satisfaction! Turns out I had run some bad gas through it!Cost to me $0.00.
By the way....... John is still selling boats at the same dealership after all these years. Don't you think he would move on if Frankie's didn't back their product? Think about it.

I bought a Ranger from Frankie's a year and a half ago. Would I buy another one? Well I had one small issue with the boat and it was cleared up faster than you can read this post. There is a reason why John Laub is the #1 Ranger salesman in the country year after year and Frankie's is the #1 Ranger dealer for walleye boats and the #2 Ranger dealer overall again this year. That in spite of some very stiff competition. Bash away all you want but Frankie, Deb, John, Slip Bobber (Mike)and company have worked hard to improve their customer service and it shows. No one is perfect and not everyone can be pleased in this world. Frankie's Marine has worked hard to take care of us fisherman. I can attest to that.

what do you mean? "He knows the "real world" of fishing boats."
Just curious?

lol I meant by saying the "real world", that they know what works best, how and why, versus many salesman/dealerships that might not have the on the water fishing knowledge/experience that they have at Frankie's. Little rigging issues/tricks for the individual consumers application needs is important....They seems to deliver that well. Understand?

Could not agree more with Steve, Frankies not only sells it better than anyone, but they keep you on the water with the very best service team, and quite frankly thats the key to their success SERVICE.
