I have been looking at Skeeters. However, even the 1775 won't fit into my garage with the swing-tongue trailer. It is 20 feet long WITHOUT the motor according to the brochure. Add 2'6" for a 150 and we are at 22'6". I have 21'4" in my garage.

I looked at their tailers. The swing-tongue break appears to be about 2 feet ahead of where it needs to be.

Anybody running an Eagle under their Skeeter???? Looks like my only option is to go with a non-Skeeter trailer or see if they can change the location of the "break" for me.

I've got the 1775 and unless Skeeter has changed their trailers since 2001, you should have no problem getting it into a garage with 21'-4".

My trailer breaks even with the bow of the boat. The boat with the motor straight and not turned to the side measures at about 19'-5", give or take a few inches.

I've got a 22'-9" garage and with the boat backed straight in and the motor not turned to the side, I've got at least a couple of feet behind it.

Good luck.....Eric

I have a standard 22' 6" depth garage, 1775T with F80, add-on hydraulic tongue (adds about 2" to the standard tongue), and the boat fits straight in. Yeah, I only have 2" of clearance. With a swing-away tongue (say 2'), there is no reason why that boat will not fit in a 20' 6" garage.

If I had a 21' 4" garage such as yours, my boat will still easily fit by angling the trailer in. I would still not lose my other car parking spot.

The skeeter trailer is a custom EZ loader specifically made for this rig. I am not overly fond of EZ loader but their custom trailer division did their homework on this one. You do not need the side guide rails, the bunks are spaced perfectly to match up with the chines underneath. It is a quality trailer.

If you have any other questions, let us know. Good luck.

P.S. - I do have to cheat. My motor is tilted down and turned to one side. But only after I added the hydraulic brake actuated tongue, didn't have to beforehand.

I don't have the exact dimensions but it should fit on a 22'6" garage. The Skeeter trailers are top flight, tows like a dream and load better than any other trailer I've owned.
