Has any one tried the new Foam Walkers that are supposed to be the newest snag free weights? I just seen them for the first time.

I dont know if they ever claimed to be snag free. From the looks of them I bet they get hung up pretty easy in a rocky or snaggy area. Their benefit is that the arm floats and doesnt tip over, which would keep your line off the bottow a little better. However, a blade will still weigh a crawler down and it will end up near the bottom. I would think it would work best with live bait and a light hook with a bead.

The Foam Walkers are fairly snag resistant, much more so than a plain lead weight. The line slips through the plastic ends much easier than through the metal or lead loops we are more familiar with. I have found the work best for lindy rigging, but also work with spinners.

Keep the line tight,

I have used them this summer and like them. I have used them both with lindy rig and spinner rig. I replaced all my bottom bouncers with them
