    Hey Dave,

I'll be sure to send you some info once I get everything going. I had her out yesterday but it didn't go well as the engine was mounted too low I think (had some cavitation/ventilation issues) and I couldn't get on plane. Not that it would've helped with the waves rolling in yesterday!

We're going to move the engine up this week and get her out again to see if that does the trick, I have a hunch that it will. I'm hoping for at least mid 40's with the boat so we'll see how it goes. I'm running a 3 blade 19 pitch aluminum on an 18 foot Thunder Jet welded hull, which is probably similar in dimensions to your Fisherman.

I do think think the 135 will be sweet once everything is dialed in. The 9.9 ran like a top. Trolled down to 0.7 MPH and WOT got about 6-7 MPH. It was really windy though so I'll test everything again once the weather co-operates a little better.

Thanks for the info and talk soon!

    Neil

Hi NMG. I also am running a Honda 135 & Honda 8hp on a Lund 1700 Fisherman. I have tried various props starting with original I think 13x17 which pushed me about 40mph. I currently have a Powertech 14 x 19 SS(from Propman on Walleye Central) which gets just shy of 45mph, all GPS speeds and seems to work well. I love the 135 and am on my 4th summer with it. I buy oil filters for 135 from my auto dealership, same one as the Accord Odyssey cars I have. Much cheaper from them. Like to hear how well you like it.

    Dave L
