Numuscong sounds like a good option. I hope to try it this spring. I'll probably also go over to Alpena. Our big trip in the summer is to Lac Seul. Can't wait!

Fact is I found the lake on my own. Certain aspects of my story were tweaked a bit because otherwise people could have figured out where I was fishing.

Little Miss is nowhere near as good. (Besides which all the lakes in the reserve with outpost camps cannot be accessed via the park roads)

This was a small lake to the S/W of Little Miss.

Made it out to Opic before everything melted. Drove the sled 105 miles that day to Opic and back.

I'm going to my cottage this week not far from Westree. No ice yet. Weather has been quite mild. I can Snowmobile to Meteor Lake from my cottage. May-be get together for some ice fishing then on Opic this winter.

Unfortunatly we are near freeze up. I have ice fish as early as nov 11.

I fish primarily algoma and hwy 129 up to and around Chapleau.
