Pinewood Reservoir Colorado

Hey guys, I am wanting to fish Pinewood Reservoir in Colorado, just west of Loveland. Has anyone fished the tiger muskies in there? I am looking for any information that might be out there on that body of water.

Thanks!

I have fished it from shore. I don't know if you are familiar with it at all but it is quite small. You can launch a boat but it is all wakeless. Lots of belly boats and fly fisherman. The tigers can be easy to see but quite difficult to get them to hit anything. Its a nice little lake but it gets lots of people and pressure.

I fished in Minnesota a lot and caught a few northerns and walleye. If you can get a boat, try using a minnow and sinker. Drop it to the bottom and reel it up about a foot. If you're going after muskies, use a steel leader, 18 inches. They bite right through a regular line.
