What is? Having a tournament there? Tournament anglers are quite used to disinfecting their livewells and cleaning their trailers for invasive species as they move from lake to lake. I would be more worried about your weekend angler/tourist bringing invasives in, than a tournament angler. The topic is discussed at every event, at every stop, on all the circuits. Some locations even have mandatory check point areas where they check your livewell before launching. These guys are well aware of the problems, and do everything they can to prevent it. Juls |

That might be the funniest post I ever seen :howdy: That would be like me sayin' ---- "Mille lacs didnt have zebra mussels until some yahoo from Nebraska took a weekend fishing trip here in MN" For the record I'd never say that, but your post is ridiculous... |

There's always first timers at the tournys and it doesn't matter what state you travel from.

Would mississippi River be a better location? Green Bay? Erie? Or better yet, how about a lake that doesnt have zebra mussels... Im sure none of these tourny boats have been to any infested waters lately... |

Just like there are first timers on vacation visiting your lake every weekend. I don't think blaming the tournament organizations is the answer either. Juls |
