Anybody know who makes these for Coleman? Anybody got one?

I researched them a while back...pretty sure they're made in china by a company called Hyung. Could be mistaken but that's what I found.

I was looking to import 10 and sell them

However they did not have any EPA testing and did not want to get into trouble for something stupid. Shunfee something like that was the maker and then distributed under several different names even some chinese companies put there name on them. I think parsun in USA is same company. Sail outboards was another in States. If the price is low worth a shot.

Exactly- they are a Chinese built outboard.

Keep in mind that there have been posts on here from folks trying to find parts or service on those outboards. If you buy one of those Coleman outboards, even at a cheap price, you need to keep in mind where you are going to get service, who is going to service it, and where are you going to get parts (and at what price).

Do yourself a favor and support your local dealer and/ or buy a used outboard built by a manufacturer that has local dealer service.
