Lund am/fm Antenna

Two previous Pro V's that I owned had a small antenna that when extended ( it telescoped) was about 12 -14 inches long. When colapsed was about 8" long and then folded down and snapped into a cradle that was only about 4 or 5 inches in length. It was very compact and I would like to mount the same on my Pro Guide. Does anyone know the name of the manufaturer?

Man, I don't know how you do that. That's it! I scoured the internet for a couple hours and finally gave up.

Once again, Thankyou!

Just a word of advice when you install it, do not install the antenna close to your sonar unit. I have a HDS unit and I have it too close to the antenna and when I turn the radio on when the HDS is on it interfere's with the reception.

Thanks for the advise. You just saved me some aggrevation as I was going to install it close.

it really ain't that hard kids.
First of all, pick out the primary terms for the search on Google. In this case, the OP was looking for what he described as a "fold down antenna". Starting there, look at a couple of pages of results. With no success, if you go back to the 1st page of Google results, at the bottom, it gives alternative search terms, in this case "fold away antenna".
Bingo, first choice in the "shopping results", 3 or 4 lines down.

Just teach your mind to think in keywords, the internet does the rest of the work.

I concur with that statement.

HRG... I did buy one on E Bay. Funny thing. On the buy it now history there was a total inventory of 7 to sell, two had been bought back in, I believe it said June and then after you posted the link 3 more sold yesterday, I bought 1 yesterday and 1 sold early today. You should run on commisssion.

Looks like I was not the only one looking for this type of antenna.
