Any Boysen reports?

I'm heading to Boysen this weekend and I've never fished it this early in the season. Since the WWC tourney is over, I'm hoping some of you guys that survived the blizzard can provide some info on the conditions and some good places to start. Thanks!

I have done good this early in years past. I haven't tried it yet this year though. All I have heard about being caught so far are trout. Good luck. Watch out for the wind.

Thanks guys. Great website, Chad. So, it seems that most of the waldos run up the river to spawn. I thought there was probably too much silt for that. Are any of the feeder creeks (i.e. Cottonwood) suitable for spawning?

There are certainly some fish spawning all over that lake including the North end. If you throw jigs, try the points around the dam and the area across from the Brennon Marina. There were also several boats back in Cottonwood so don't be afraid to try there as well....I think that area will really pick up as the water warms and the weeds begin to emerge. If the water is still below 50 degrees, the channel edges and flats south of Tough Creek will be a sure bet.

Good luck and be safe out there!
