RE: Recommended resorts for First time trip

RE: long/lobstick bays early june

You could spend a lot of time in those three bays, but most people don't. I've also been curious as to what replies you would get because when I guided out of Sioux Narrows, I was taught to leave...

RE: Nipigon this April

We are looking at fishing Nipigon Bay on Superior when the ice comes out, but we would certainly consider the river and lake as well.

Nipigon this April

Hi there, I'm just checking to see if anybody is familiar with this area, including Lake Nipigon and the Nipigon river at Superior. I heard that fish can be caught early in the spring. How early? ...

RE: Living in Selkirk Manitoba

I'd have to agree, my most happy drives are on the way to a fishing hole, and my crappiest drives are on the way to work.

RE: North Basin Lake Winnipeg

It is being impacted by nutrient loading as well, but I'm not sure to what degree, and I don't think the experts know to what degree. Algae and nutrient loading occurs naturally because it is a...

RE: Canada Fishing Opener

Crowduck in early spring can be crazy good or crazy bad!

The earliest I've been in there was right around the Manitoba opener (usually a week before Ontario) and we did super good, catching over...

RE: suggestions on portable filet table

That was my thought at first, that I didn't want to cut on a metal surface.

He said that Aluminum was incredibly soft and shouldn't dull your blade much, but I'm not so sure. I suggested maybe...

Crowduck is not the only lodge in the Whiteshell. I would say Eagle Nest Landing (housekeeping) and lodge (american plan) are your best bets. They are both in the whiteshell on the Winnipeg River. ...
