The clevis pin the goes into the coupler latch, to keep it from unlatching. Or the safety pin perhaps. I had a hard time getting it out, I had to hammer it out using the spare pin I have as a punch....

Right....I just want the new coupler put on at the yard, and get it to my dad's house where I can work on it. Then I will do the rest of the trailer/brake repair and do all of this in the same day....
