Had one of the barges with the backhoe on it...

Had one of the barges with the backhoe on it drive right past me on Friday headed south. Pretty impressive amount of rock on the barge for sure.

Spinners with 1oz at 1.1 mph is about 43' back to get 17 down, depending on type/size of blade.

But at 1.5 mph you'd need a fair amount more.

Just a personal observation from both sides...

I used to fish a lot more tournaments than I do now, and I can tell you that I kill a LOT more walleye now as a "fun" fisherman than I ever did when I was fishing tournaments.
