Haven't had a wind knot problem since using em, and do they ever give you more casting distance.

I bought 2 last year, liked em so much I replaced my other 4 with em. I had 2 in 7'6' now I have 4 in 7'6 and 2 8'6' The 8'6 telescopes into the handle and makes it about 7' collapsed.

I should have mentioned I have the ego as well as my ranger. Its kind of flimsy when extended, and the basket is kinda small. However, it is a great net for the small guys, the hogs get the ranger.

Bought in on a recommendation from my local bait shop. Most info is honestly pretty basic. There are a few gems hidden throughout the book though.

I'd recommend it to anyone who is new to trolling.
