In Ontario there is a provincial alcohol mark up. This is really just a tax that is not found in Quebec. In Que a 60 pack of cans runs around 55.00 plus taxs, in ontario it runs closer to 75.00.

Thanks Kurt. I guess it was a bow bumper unique to Holsclaw, have never seen one like it before. I think I may just end up replacing the post and upgrading the bow stop/winch mount.

Thanks Phil, I have looked at the v block available, unlike the ones available, the one on my trailer is about 6 to7 inches wide at the base with bolts vertically through it.

The bite for us bounced from minnow to leach to minnow. Our biggest which was only 22 inches was on a single leach. Often they wouldn't look at a leach and only hit minnows.

One thing I took away from auto shop class in high school was never use cement blocks in place of a jack stand. If you don't have a jack stand, wood blocks work well plus they won't mar the trailer.

One thing to remember is that you must be wearing the inflatable for it to count as a PFD unlike a life jacket that you just have to have in the boat. If you aren't wearing it, it dosen't count.
