I just tried out my Terrova 80 yesterday. My boat is 18.5 feet. Last year I had the MotorGuide 75 wireless it would pull my boat at 4mph. Yesterday I put the Terrova on 10 and it never reached 2mph....

I had a simular problem the dealer put wire nuts...

I had a simular problem the dealer put wire nuts for connections and after the motor ran for awhile the connections were heating up I changed to better connectors and problem solved
