The E-TEC is a 2-stroke

Hot Runr Guy -- good ideas. And the respect...

Other Shows

Doubleheader,

With the tight economy, we are having to watch our expenses a bit with the traveling. I don't think we'll be at those shows. The next show I will be at will be the BassMaster...

Hundreds of Differences

Hello

Thank you for the question. Simply stated, there have been literally hundreds of changes to the OptiMax product since 1999. Changes in combustion chamber, injectors, pistons, gear cases,...

Opti -- all the way

Hi

In terms of which fuel delivery system makes the better jet outboard - the OptiMax wins hands down. It is lighter and has more torque -- better overall performance.

We introduced a Jet...

Dyson DC 17 Absolute Animal!!!!

One of the very few products that I have purchased in my lifetime that has lived up to its hype. As someone posted before, vaccum with your old vac and then take the Dyson over it after you buy it....

Yes -- the 225 and 250 Pro XS have different gear cases - the TorqueMaster. The point I trying to make before is that the 200 Opti is already "maxed" out if you will in HP. While turning...

200 Pro XS

TOPWATER,

Sorry for the delayed response. At this time, no, no plans for a 200 Pro XS. However, I can tell you that the 200 OptiMax is a "very strong" motor the way it is - and in fact, it would...

Significant Difference Between Engines

Wishnfishin is correct -- you have to consider a fully-loaded boat when chosing an engine. The 175 Pro XS, has significantly more torque than a 150 or even 175 stock OptiMax -- and it also has more...

RE: 2010 175opti XS

Its a hoss Putz, a lot of bottom end torque. The best part about it --you're getting all that power and you still get excellent fuel economy!!!

RE: Lund Project 59 vs. 208 Pro-V GL

The fuel recommendation is the same for the 300 as it is for the 275s. Running 87 octane in either engine will usually make very little difference vs running premium fuel. It is entirely dependent on...
