RE: RC Nitro cars - new obsession
Yea, Talk about an obsession. It can be a crack addiction. My problem started about 6 month ago. I sold a specialty Audi I had sitting around with a bad motor. I always wanted to get into RC stuff so...

RE: outboard upgrades
It is a felony to change any motor from OEM specs (even spark plug heat range is a no no ) from 1998 on, except for race motors. That is why you don't see more posts here about doing this and that...

RE: 99 Windstar Tire Recommendation
Footdoc, I would recommend Sears Roadhandler tires from Sears. I have posted about these before. They are rated for 100,000 miles -80,000 for larger sizes. This is the highest I have seen . They are...

RE: RPMs are 300 to high. What are my options?
Most HP increases from the same size cc or size motor is increased by a larger carburetor and/or port timing. The design of the motor has a lot to do with how much over the factory RPM you can safety...

RE: Yarcraft 1785 Mille Lacs
If it is a 2000 year boat wouldn't it be a Wrangler series? It can't be a tiller since it is rated for a 75 hp. So it has to be a D/C or S/C with a rating of 150 hp. I would say 90 hp is way under...

RE: Winterizeing boat, not motors?
I never worry about the bilge pump. It has an open bottom or open flow through design and all the water flows out. The only other thing you have to worry about exit tube does not have a low spot or...

RE: Winterizeing boat, not motors?
My boat came only with the flat black plastic screens in the livewells.Yes , you need to twist these off to get the plastic tube in. The intakes on the transom did not have anything on them. I bought...

RE: Winterizeing boat, not motors?
You need to use RV anti-freeze. It is pre mixed and won't kill fish as easy when you flush your system in the spring. You can get it at Menard's or Wal-Mart or anywhere else. I use Prestone brand...

RE: Connection at the motor to drain gas from tank
Years ago I needed to drain the tank on a Sylvan Pro Select. I had a 90 Merc and bought a Merc end fitting and a 6 inch brass pipe to use to drain the gas into a portable gas tank. It worked great, ...

RE: Is fogging absolutely necessary?
Rew, I was surprised when he said that too. I figured if you are going to make a custom synthetic oil you would make an anti-rust additive that works better then petroleum oil. I didn't get into it...

RE: Track Drive Snow Blower
Kevin, If I could give any advice I would have to say get a 7-8 hp or above, wheel model snow blower. ( A Honda if you can afford one) 5 hp just is not enough unless you live in a southern winter...

My Trophy came back from DAH so sharp you could not get it sharper. I could shave with it, REALLY! It cut into a cotton rag I had to do final torquing of prop nut.
I don't feel it...

I am surprised no one has mentioned the "real" toughest boat in the industry. It defiantly is not a Lund or any of the boats made for the pacific northwest. Even though that style boat would get my...

RE: Yamaha 150 hp 2.6L carb
Wa_Walleye, You did do a good buy. If you are making a long run as you say for a tournament, I would have to assume you are going WOT there and back to get the most fishing time. A carb, conventional...
