Hello, I was trying to figure out what else I needed to hook up my 2004 Merc Optimax to my HDS Live12. The first two pictures are what I think are the SmartCraft cables under my dash, not hooked to...

I'm having the same problem with the GPS speed reading on my HDS Live12. I updated the software to the latest, 19.1 thinking that would have the fix, no. I sent Lowrance an email, after 10 days of...

I don't believe so. Lowrance needs to have a record stop, hopefully in a software update. This is basically their first year with on screen live mapping, where Humminbird has been doing this for...

I think the reasoning behind the 32Gb or less is that it can take the unit so long to refresh if you zoom, to dig through all those files. Go to whichever map you want to put your new contours on,...

For sure. I hope Lowrance can accomplish just that, with a software update. Would truly piss me off after spending all that money, not knowing that, and having to wait until the next unit for that...

Yep, just takes a blank microSD, max of 32Gb. I have a Navionics chip in #1, and the SD in #2 slot. I think you can overlay the contours you produce onto a Navionics map, if it's new enough, but, I...

Problems with Lowrance CMAP Genesis Live: Warning for Prospective Buyers

So, I did some followup with Lowrance on this. Creating my own map with CMAP Genesis Live, without having to share publicly, or pay $100/yr was the reason I bought this HDS Live unit. My particular...

Hi, yesterday I successfully mapped an area on my reservoir using CMAP Genesis Live. I bought a blank 32Gb micro SD, and ovellayed those contours I created onto the preloaded CMAP that comes with...

Hi Reels, I have been waiting to upgrade my Lowrance (that I am happy with). My main reason for upgrading is mapping, and finally SonarChart live to make my own maps. It took Lowrance quite a while...

One thought: only keeping the amount of fuel you would use in a day could be a very bad thing. Just think if the wind came up something fierce, and you had to go back, and you ran out of fuel before...

[QUOTE=fishin10;5049745]

Found a picture of the inside of the boat. It is a 1994 Sea Nymph 14.6. You can see it has a nice flat floor (easy for moving around) but would have torn up in order to...

Crack/Split in Hull

This is along the keel, towards the front of the bow on my river 14.5' boat. I do believe this is the result of about 22 years of driving it up on the bank (with rocks) to park it (won't be doing...
