Electric food slicer
Local deli stopped carrying prosciutto and I now have to order bulk and slice. Would use electric slicer only a couple times a year to slice prosciutto wafer thin so don't want to go crazy on price....

8k isn't a problem for me, as it is something I will use almost daily. People drop 50k on a boat that they will use 25 times a year, if that, and the boat depreciates more than 8k the first year.
