I believe Eagle trailers was sold to Yacht Club after 2004. They were manufactured in Michigan. Now in Iowa under Yacht Club.

Get it fixed. If you took out the lower unit on your motor you would have to get it fixed. No difference. It significantly devalues the boat. Insurance would only go up slightly.
