Anyone use or heard of using plastic type HPDE panels? Menards has them to 1/2" thick. Wonder how they would hold up? carpet glue stick to this stuff???

I'd just get whatever shimano 2500 is in your price range. Daiwa and Pflueger are good too but in the last 5 years my smoothest reels from $30-130 have been Shimano's.
