I should also have mentioned a couple things K Sports told me. Two main killers of the foot pedal: 1) sand and water. Keep the foot pedal away from beach sand if someone is in/out of a sand beach...

Foot pedal
I lost the steering on my power drive yesterday while fishing out of Kenora ON. Went to K Sports Marine, $77 plus tax for a new foot pedal and the problem is solved instantly. Back onto the walleye.

2005 1700 Fisherman
Mine came with the charger. It is mounted ot the wall of the compartment in front of the wind shield on the passenger side (the opposite side of the front live well).

Lund is working on a ladder similar to the gunnel stow in the fiberglass boat. It will mount to the motor bolts and lock up in place. Should be available in early 2010.
