I saw new Ford f150 MSRP $60k!!!!!!!!!!!! If they can price new anything they want then used market can sell for what ever they want. If you can get new 17ft Crestliner superhawk $22k LOL good...

Mercury makes fine water impeller
If you install it correctly and use petroleum grease during install no reason it can not last three seasons easy. I have never seen worn out impeller yet on any boat I have owned.

Yamaha and Honda
Suzuki has made some crappy motors in past as well Evinrude. Sticking with Japs I do not think Yamaha ever made bad motor or Honda? Mercury is boring black paint. I know Suzuki is jap lol.

Plastic drain plug would be area check. Shine light down in there also get bright light below area and look for light coming through at night. I 're sealed with 3m 4200 on drain plug and motor...

I fish bass out aluminum deep V. Reata Ranger is nice but $30k might purchase boat without motor LOL. Targa is nice, Lund Impact I did not put Crestliner in mix as hulls leave so much to desire...
