RE: gas price-Psychological ?

I pretty much agree with your points. I am also in favor of alternatives. But I don't think oil explorations needs to be squashed to promote coming up with alternatives. $ incentives will do that...

RE: gas price-Psychological ?

I'm not buying it. If we start drilling in all the areas we have enormous supplies of oil, we will get the attention of OPEC. They will get the hint that we intend to become self sufficient. Even...

RE: 2nd Amendment decision by Supreme Court

It was close for political reasons only. The four dissenters knew the other five were for it so they could vote down their political avenues without it hurting anything.

RE: Cellulose Insulation

Several reasons. First when you blow it, it will dust up so bad you can't hardly see. It will be all over you and in your eyes and it sucks. You have to wear a mask just to be able to breath. You...

RE: Trojan Batteries- not impressed

I paid $125 for them 4 years ago, still going strong. I doubt they've doubled in 4 years. I haven't seen any other lead batteries go up much in price. Also, how long they last is usually a direct...

RE: How much money can you save skipping basement?

If you can get homes built for $60-$80 a sq. ft. you better be building and selling them. Right now in Western ND it's costing us $120-$140 sq. ft just to build them.

RE: Oil that is, black gold, Texas tea

Here in the bakken, if we would have relied on the original oil in place , we wouldn't be drilling right now. This is all recent finding.
